  1. I don’t know why anyone bothers to quote “One Million Moms”, it’s a group of fascist evangelical crazies numbering in their thousand or so, certainly nowhere near one million. It’s a fringe group of right-wing radicals that no one in their right mind pays any attention to.

It’s about time Ellen got back into creating comedy. Lets hope they get some of the rising stars of YouTube involved in projects like this soon, there’s so much comedic talent out there that the networks are too old and decrepit to understand.

  2. Those ten thousand retarded soccer moms sure make a lot of noise.

I’m also reminded of the Madonna/Rupert Everett movie and the large story arch on Will and Grace.

It’s been a while since Will & Grace…..about time! Well done to her, I love Ellen.

Don’t forget Comedy Central’s excellent “”Threesome” that has had 2 series (so far).

While all gay shows are good, I’d like to see less focus on the having a baby aspect. For me, that’s not the new normal. None of my 100% gay friends have children and I don’t recall them ever saying they do. I have gay friends that were in relationships with women in the past who do have children. That’s a different subset. I’m sure there are 100% gay men that want children but I wish it wasn’t always featured in shows.

Queer as Folk was far more relevant to me and what I’ve seen so far of the U.S. import “Looking” on Sky Atlantic as well. Also I’d like to see less of the stereotypical pairing of butch and camp partners like in Modern Family. I want to see two men together without the need to resort to clichés. That to me is the new normal.
