  1. Tell ‘it’s not an issue’ to the gay kids who are bullied at school for their actual or perceived sexuality.

    1. I don’t think the person who said that was trying to dismiss the issue of sexuality-related bullying as insignificant or irrelevant. I think they were simply expressing that a football player’s sexuality isn’t a deciding factor for their support of a team and they hope that others would also take the same view.

That should go without saying. They certainly don’t deserve brownie points for saying this. It’s like saying the world is round- do I now deserve a cookie?

Another step forward in the right direction .Well done to the fans, an example for every club across the country.

    1. Hopefully, it won’t be long before a current player in the Premiership finally picks-up enough courage to openly announce he is a homosexual or a bisexual. It is only when that happens and is followed with others doing the same that the very ‘macho’ sport of football will finally come to terms with reality and the modern world.

  3. I look forward to a time when people don’t need to be asked whether or not they think that the sexuality of someone in a football team they support is acceptable.

  4. Go Liam ..!

Straight and gay together with no issue and support.
