  1. Denis Thatcher was even more far right than his wife and was a supporter of apartheid era South Africa.

Thankfully Britain has moved on in leaps and bounds from the homophobic era that the likes of Thatcher and Tebbit so perfectly embodied. And how bitter the latter seems to be in a country where his prejudices are decidedly out of vogue.

But every other type of scandal is just fine – right. And pray tell how Denis Thatcher would have stopped anything. Lord Tebbit I know life has been sh**e – and we can’t even blame your religious belief for your hatred. It boils down to the fact you are just a nasty man who displays his internal anger at whatever it is by just be unpleasant. Not long to go though until you can be back in Thatcher’s arms. (joking).

They got the wrong characters for VICIOUS.
get tebbit n resusitate denis thatcher.
2 ol homophobes are sure 2 have internal issues about their sexuality. Oh n while ur at it Robbie”im only a certain percentage gay…strictly non sexual” williams could play their adopted son

  4. One might have thought that a sane person might have been more concerned that the (false) allegations were of minors being abused than that they were of the same sex as the alleged abuser.

One can only assume that Thatch and Tebbit would have had no problem had their been abuse against under aged girls.

Someone should tell the silly old sausage to stop digging a grave in which to bury what is left of his reputation.

  5. Poor old sad forgotten man
Will spout his bile to the bitter end.

It wasn’t a “gay sex scandal”, Lord Tebbit. It was a child abuse scandal.

If you really don’t understand the difference, it might be time for you to sit down and shut up.

I imagine he intended the slur.

    2. Philip Breen 21 Jan, 7:38am

Yes-absolutely. Furthermore, the present conservative party maintains that slur by not legislating for the DBS (old CRB) to filter the old, gay, victimless ‘spent’ offences on the basis that their contents in all probability included the abuse of children and vulnerable adults.

Is it just me, or does this guy look like one of the ghost pilgrims from the recent animated movie “Paranorman”?

  8. charming people. this is a little island off iceland?

  9. Ms. Thatcher couldn’t live forever and he won’t either. It’s just about time for the rest of the old bigots to die off. Though I do hope he’ll live to see his next birthday.

  10. Never mind, folks……the first same-sex marriages take place on this old fools birthday. Best of all though……it’s my birthday on 29/03 as well. YAY! Now that is a nice present for me but…I bet ol Norman will be nashing his false teeth. :)

  11. McAlpine was never linked to ‘a gay sex scandal’. Tebbit is either fantasizing or engaging in deliberate misrepresentation to support his own twisted outlook. McAlpine was accused of very specific explicit child abuse by Scallywag magazine in the early 90s. He did not sue the magazine.

  12. I had hoped Tebbitt was dead. Sadly not.

Still, it’s something to look forward to.
