  1. … But then don’t all homophobes have an obsession with gay sex? What on earth could be the mechanism that makes them that way? Could it simply be that homophobes are in denial of their true sexuality?

Indeed, there are numerous scientific studies which prove, without a shadow of doubt, that those with the most outspoken homophobic beliefs are generally those who have something to hide about themselves. This is all about self-loathing and the complete insanity religious dogma creates in their stupid little brains.

Most of these people have been raised in religious homes, by bigoted parents, and when they realize they themselves have same-sex attractions they become a monster to try to deflect “suspicion” away from themselves.

I give it five years before this mental defective is outed by someone.

What astounds me is that there is still no movement to keep bigots out of politics. This should be an obvious step to take. We would not accept sexists, racists and other bigots to represent anyone, yet we allow religiously insane homophobes to hold positions of power?

This is completely irrational. Anyone who holds bigoted views against groups of people and pushes for things that go against equality and basic Human Rights should NOT BE ALLOWED to represent anyone.

If you are elected, your job is represent the interests of EVERYONE, not just push your own bigoted agenda and force your electorate to comply with your delusional religious insanity.

Many Australians, it seems, are too busy drinking wine & beer and having a good time than to press for social changes. Deep down ‘Down Under’ is a very, very socially conservative country, including the Australian Labor Party!

  4. What happens when the Liberal Party acts more like the Tea Party? See Australia.

There a many anti-gay bigots in the world, but it still takes somebody (Political Party) to hire them.

  5. Bit like Richard Littlejohn obsessed with gay men and what there doing -is there something missing in their life

    1. Yes – a gay lover!

“You’ve really got to watch out for those that have these obsessions. He who protests the loudest …”

That someone pointed the finger at Bernardi was made more enjoyable by the fact that it was another Liberal politician. The more divisive they are over this issue (and in public) the better.

Good old hypocrisy strikes yet again and again!!!!

Linking up gay marriage with polygamy and bestiality (whatever that means) is not a new one – it is just rehashed by the same bigoted conservative politicians who can not come up with something new and original themselves (so the comedian steals someone else’s work instead)!

Senator Cory Bernardi in 2017 will be caught (by an “under-cover” customs, immigration or police officer) with his pants down in Melbourne Airport toilets saying “I am not gay” [line]

“I was just helping with another mans luggage” [line]

Mmmmmmm, who does that remind you of – of course Senator Larry Craig in 2007!!!!!!!

It is 2014 – time for marriage equality in Australia now please!!!!!!
