    Oh, now he’s feeling the pressure, all that international dosh being cut off. If he has any common decency and respect for human rights, he’d not sign it.

  2. I have a friend in Uganda who lives in the closet and fear that he will be outed. He does however trust in the President. However, even if the bill does not become law Uganda will still be a bad country in which to live as a gay man or woman.

  3. The United Nations could stop homophobia overnight if it threatened expulsion, trade embargoes and to cut off aid. It is not doing anywhere near enough to promote tolerance and human rights and, if it is not careful, will become as irrelevant and toothless as the IOC.
