Jackson is more a minister than I am — he uses anything he can to get publicity. I feel sorry for those black people who see him as a leader working for the good of minorities.

It should read, “Jackson is no more a minister than I am.”

      1. He’s actually a very different sort of minister compared to you. I am glad to say.

        1. He’s the type of minister who actually stated (out of jealousy) he wanted to cut Obama’s balls off (he didn’t know his mic was on). Also produced a criminal son. He’s a dirtbag “minister.”

          1. I’ve no doubt Jesse Jackson has his faults. But his message is inclusive, which Florida Hank’s certainly is not.

    2. Look at all the thumbs down you got ! The British obviously don’t know much about Jesse Jackson.

  2. I’m surprised that the black community haven’t said more about the duck man. What he said about slavery was disgusting, reminded me a holocaust denier.

Well said Jesse Jackson! Good for him for stepping forward and challenging this sub-literate bearded homophobic and it seems racist moron. I bet those white homophobic “Christians” down in ole Texas and Alabama are now having apopletic fits. Good! Stupid bastards.

    1. What about homophobic African-Americans in NYC ?

  4. Contrition is not in the typical self-righteous fundie. Neither is there love.

  5. Jesse Jackson literally said he wanted to cut Obama’s balls off. He’s the one who needs to repent.

Odd that these comments by Rev Jackson have not made news here in the U.S. Generally, although Jackson is no longer a top ‘newsmaker’, his comments on controversial topics get reported. Thanks for including this in your news feed. *Correction* needed though. In his interview in GQ Phil Robertson did NOT say he picked cotton with SLAVES …. slavery in the U.S. ended in 1865 with the 13th Amendment to the U.S. constitution.

    1. You don’t think his statement about Obama’s testicles is the main thing (though not the only thing) that destroyed all his credibility in the U.S.? (And when are his statements ever reported in the U.S. media anymore?)

  7. MJ is right – before you all start lauding the ‘Reverend’ Jesse Jackson check out his past. The man is not a hero, not even within his own community. For some reason the mainstream media keep promoting him but he is not worthy of anyone’s support. The racist comments he made about New York’s Jews and even Obama (the cutting balls off comment was mild compared to other things he said) are more par for the course from this shakedown artist.
