    1. I’ve never seen such a piece of journalistic writing so obviously full of distortion and apparently based on what I assume is fear, loathing or even hatred in a very long time.

  1. The plight of Russia’s LGBTs, sponsored by Putin’s anti-gay laws has set the tone for an epic battle that will be waged in the next few years. The backlash in Russia is real, but it has had the effect of empowering the LGBT movement toward equality in such a way, that even the country’s leading homophobic and shame-based organization, the Russian Orthodox Church, won’t be able to stop.
