  1. wondered how long it would take for something like this to happen…

  2. Thank you very much, David Cameron!

This is what happens when you get idiot politicians in a race to the bottom for the Daily Mail vote. Disgusting!

There shouldn’t be any censorship on the internet. If underage children are accessing porn or being stalked by predators, what are the bloody irresponsible parents doing? It’s another bloody joke that we’re a bastion of freedom of speech and expression.

A complete waste of time led by some idiotic idea that there’s votes in doing this crap, all from the party that used to criticise Labour for their “nanny state” ideas.

Get used to LGBT sites being blocked BTW. The ISPs have gone for off the shelf categorisation products, which are very good at “misclassifying” all LGBT sites as porn.

  5. I’m talking with TalkTalk as I write this and trying to get through to a high level. May I suggest everyone does the same. You need to be a TalkTalk user.

  6. TalkTalk are now looking into this. They will phone me back soon to let me know the situation.

  7. it’s illegal to discriminate in the provision of goods and services in the UK on the grounds of sexual orientation.
if you’re a talktalk customer and feel that is what they are doing then sue them – you should make a few grand
you simply have to prove that they don’t block similar services for straight people – which seems clear-cut in this case
often-times they use off-the -peg US systems which break the law in the UK by blocking all sites gay-related
if you’re not a customer – join – and then sue them!
these laws were hard fought for and are there to protect us from this sort of thing

Censoring porn in the first place is pathetic anyway, just because some parents don’t know how to block it themselves, hey I know lets just block it for everyone! and P.S watching it does not a turn a normal well adjusted person automatically into a rapist or killer,it would only be a tiny contributing factor to an already messed up aggressive hostile person.

It’s illegal to discriminate in the provision of goods and services on the grounds of sexual orientation in the UK.
If you’re a talktalk customer and feel this is what they are doing – then sue them – sounds like they are to me. You should make a few grand if you can prove they allow similar sites that deal straight people.
In all likelihood they are using a US based system which blocks all “gay” or gay-related content – which is illegal here in the UK and you should have an open and shut case.in that case.
If you’re not a customer then sign-up, and then sue!
These laws were hard fought for and people should use them.
