    This is just too awful.

I just hope they find them, really disturbing.

What a horrendously cruel vile thing to do to a defenceless animal. I hope they find the criminal and do the same to him or her. Disgusting.

  3. Phucking scum and cowards

  4. People that are anti gay/ homophobic are a danger to animals and children and any decent human being.

  5. Psychology is a hobby of mine, and I can say with some certainty that a person who is able to attack an animal feels little empathy and is capable of significant violence against both adults and children.

When you also add extremism into the mix, it becomes even more dangerous, because the individual now has a specific group and target to attack rather than being simply a mentally disturbed person.

The individual responsible for this should be sought as a priority, they are a significant danger to society with clear indications of psychopathic tendencies and a hatred of specific groups of people.

If they are not captured, there is a genuine risk of them committing murder. I don’t want to scaremonger, but if I were her I would be moving immediately to another location, or at least demanding Police protection.

My profession is mental health and I agree with you! Anyone who would so viscously attack an animal (as opposed to causing injury in self-defence) is often a threat to children and those smaller and weaker than themselves. Those with a need to hate will often target those who are regarded (by them or by society) as ‘unfit’ to exist.

  6. This is truly disturbing. Let me know if anyone becomes of any fund raising for vet fees or anything, I’ll happily contribute. Best wishes to Jenny and Alice.

  7. Looked at the story on the papers website! It was great to read how much support she received from Guernsey residents, but i was shocked that theres no specific gay hate crime laws on the island ,as covers England!
