Congratulations to them, such a cute couple. They are setting a fine example for all gay people out there.

Lovely couple and congratulations to them. About time the government announced a date when marriages can begin so couples can start making concrete plans and securing venues. It takes months of planning for many if they’re expecting a large number of guests.

  5. gay Tories in the telegraph getting married. but don’t worry about the kid getting bullied and committing suicide in some poor part of the country.

    Sickening really

    1. I’m not a huge fan of gay men imitating tediously conventional ceremonies, but blimey James!, you’re a miseryguts – are you suggesting that all men planning marriage should hold off until bullying has been eradicated altogether?

The more evidence, the more publicity, there is for things like gay marriage means an eventual diminution (though, alas, never complete eradication) of entrenched prejudice. Try not to rain on others’ parades.

Congratulations ! Here in Belgium we can marry legally and thus we have the same obligations. I am happy to see others being able to do it. I am so proud to be Belgian since one granted the same rights as to the others !

  7. That’s really nice news to read however I’m not sure 5 years constitutes a ‘long term partner’! Good luck to them both x
