  1. Time to act, all us homos who shop there?

  2. Ikea will never get another cent of my money.

  3. It’s a real shame, I love their products but I won’t be buying from them again. They may have submitted to Russia’s bigoted law to prevent a little strife from there, but they’ve damaged their sales around the world as a result of it.

I said this on the last report about Ikea, but it needs to be said again… whoever made this decision should be fired. Lets assume they saved a million quid in legal costs if (and there’s no suggestion there would have been) there was a legal case against them in Russia, but they have potentially lost several million in sales around the world.

You don’t need to have a degree in business management to know that a decision like this can cost you millions more in profit lost due to boycott.

Perhaps this shows more of Ikea’s attitude than anything else? Do they think the LGBT customer is a minority worth abandoning?

Meanwhile, dictator Putin is in the Vatican meeting with Pope Francis!

I agree with the protest. Ikea should have made a principled stand, and themselves publicly protested the policy that requires them to erase LGBT from visibility in their Russian catalogue.

  6. I’d love that kiss-in protest to happen in the UK and Ireland. Hey Pink News, why don’t we get something organised! The beds in IKEA are ready and waiting!!!

  7. This beggars belief..God, get over it !!
