  1. The erasure of transgender children throughout this whole anti-bullying campaign is discusting.

  2. These initiatives are all very well and good when they happen, but Governments are in control of education and they continually fail to deal with this. Both Governments and schools are guilty of sweeping this issue under the carpet. Bullying is harassment, assault and torture. Adults suffering these are protected by law, so why aren’t children? Governments, schools and heterosexual society in general claim that children are most important in society yet they forever fail children. Bullying of children, even when amongst children, is child abuse. It’s time that it’s treated as such with victims protected by law. If schools were made legally culpable for the wellbeing of children on their premises, then they’d adequately deal with the problem. As things are, children don’t appear to be as important in society as heterosexuals would have us believe. Certain people such as Edwin Poots claim that only heterosexuals can raise children. Well, they’re not doing a very good job of it.

  3. It’s good to see the C of E saying they are committed to this. But how are they going to stop the teachers bullying gay kids in catholic and muslim schools, never mind the kids themselves?
