Christian Concern, C4M, Anglican Mainstream and CORE Issues should pay particular attention.

Seeing as the Gay Olympics were not allowed to call themselves that…

  3. This is VERY satisfying after having had clashes with this person on twitter… Claiming to be a gay man standing up for the rights of straight people! He claimed he CHOSE to be gay. Yeah right! Said it was peer pressure. He’d never elaborate on why he chose and all he did was tweet a load of nonsense about how “hard done by” straight people were . Looks like he finally got his comeuppance

What a thoroughly confusingly written article…

Hard to follow who sued who for what and who was the victim…

    Please amend, Pink News

  5. This was a confusing piece indeed. There should be more background on this… allow me.

WordPress (for those who don’t know) is both a self-hosted platform (that you can install on your own server and domain) and a free blogging network. I believe the journalist was operating on the WordPress network and published an interview with Straight Pride UK in which they showed extreme homophobia.
SPUK then abused the DMCA system to force WordPress to remove the truthful article, claiming it breached copyright laws. It really didn’t, but few people ever have the chance to fight such a claim.
There is currently little anyone can do to fight a DMCA request, you risk costly legal action if you attempt to defend yourself, you can lose your site, your work, and thousands in hosting costs.

WordPress is now taking up this case to defend the journalist and is suing SPUK for abusing the DMCA system and making a false allegation which resulted in censorship of a genuine journalistic piece.

    1. Thanks, BlokeToys. Now I understand. Any chance PN could give you a job, instead of the airhead who wrote this screed?
