  1. So let me get this right: those customers didn’t object to being served by Dayna Morales, they just didn’t want to tip her for her service?

The attitude is pretty stupid in general, but the total absence of any logic really puts it in a different class!

  2. “Listen! The wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts.” ~James 5.4 NRSV

Don’t be silly. Christians do not read there bible.

  3. … Christians ….?

  4. Is Dayna obliged to serve “these people”?
Are “these people” not obliged to pay for the service they received?

  5. This is the second incident we’ve read about here in PN in which in the USA homophobes have taken to writing their objections on restaurant bills. Perhaps one of the big Christian Homophobe Associations of America has urged members to behave in this way?

They may think it’s a form of righteous “quiet resistance”.

And not one major mainstream religious leader says a word! Not one politician either!

Know this…most major mainstream religious leaders are not “true Christians” — they don’t preach the Gospel of Jesus — most politicians are not Christians either — and in fact are anti-God if you see how they behave.
The only truth is in Jesus Christ — not in any religion. And as a follower of Jesus I apologize for it all in His name.

  7. Then break out the cameraphone and interview these arse holes and upload it.

  8. what upsets me more is that the name of the bigots were not visible or posted so that we all could see who they were .. I am sorry for her treatment but sometimes you have to show who they are .. and you should be able to out them .. it is people like this who one day we will see interviewed on the evening news saying how they are a “Christian family” and how the are in disbelief and how sadden they are that their child shot up and killed a room full of school children
may GOD have mercy on their souls . I dont

It is surely possible to trace people like this when they pay by credit card. They should be tracked down and photographed. Then their pictures should be circulated to all restaurants in their city, so that the owners will have the option of refusing to serve them. Their pictures should also be posted on appropriate web sites, so that other business owners can refuse service, too. Other actions might be to add a hefty service charge to their bill, or put their card number of a list of cards that businesses will refuse to accept.

When did wearing short hair become a ‘gay’ thing? Am I alone in knowing dozens of short-haired hetero ladies? Jumping to conclusions or what?

And frankly, the US needs to do more for their former service men and women if the only career this lady could get is as a waitress. (Not that the UK is much better on that count!)

Funny how the family produced their copy of the CC receipt showing that they tipped almost 20% and left no comment. It turns out:

    She lied
She has a history of lying to get attention
She was dishonorably discharged from the USMC
