    What does one carry in one’s pouch while attending Kangaroo Court?

  2. Inspection compared gays to maniacs and serial killers. “My very existence is effective proof that homosexuality is normal.” “And by following the logic of the author, he will lead children into believing ‘maniacs’ and ‘serial killers’ is also normal.”

      Regardless of the off analogy made, it is true that homosexuality is normal.

    2. It was comment by russian officials

      Fine, Roman. I’m a Barbarian. Your days are numbered.

    And so the harm continues.

    They are warped damaged people wishing to harm and damage others because their stinking religion tells them so!

    So wrong on so many levels!!

  4. There has been no reporting of this in the mainstream media yet. YOu would think that journalists would respond to this very strongly.

    It clearly demonstrates that claiming this propaganda law is about paedophilia is just a lie. All those apologists for the Putin regime who have sought to downplay this law in the west should be made to read this. And it should be sent to the IOC.

    I would encourage everyone here to send this to any journalists they know, for follow up.

    1. I did find a report on this in Thursday’s Times, which has been generally good at reporting LGBT related stories and supported the recent equal marriage bill. Would be good to see a more substantial piece about the recent Russian law changes and their effects, drawing on a range of such stories. bugging LGBT meetings; state tv docs showing homosexualist ‘threat’ ; antigay activist convicted of hooliganism and shooting man in eye BUT given suspended sentence (this is same ‘crime’ as the greenpeace protestors and journalists are being held for!);

      Russia really is reverting to its old KGB controlled tyranny; bit by bit they are creeping towards dictatorship but this time it is backed by the churches and nationalists. Sochi will be interesting to watch.

  5. ….. and so it begins. This was ALWAYS about Putin extending his dictatorship to press and personal freedoms. Oh dear. Mark my words. This is big trouble brewing in that backward country.

  6. So, if/when you get sacked, and if/when you get beaten up, whatever. You can’t speak up about it because that has become a criminal offense in Russia.
    Counting the days before a victim of homophobic violence gets arrested for daring to report it to the police.

  7. This law can be applied to anyone anywhere as there is no litmus test for being gay. Its a snake eating it’s tail law. In this a divided house shall not stand.

  8. … and so it begins. Puitin’s clampdown on gay people was ALWAYS about exerting control over the populace at large. Mark my words. It’s going to get a lot worse in Russia before it gets better … for everyone … not just the LGBT population.

  10. In Soviet Russia, News report YOU!
