Soooo, Christ DOESN’T love men and women equally? What kind of ‘orthodoxy’ is that?

    1. The Bible says that God “hates all workers of iniquity” – that’s the vast majority of people in the world at any given time. That’s why most people – apart from a “small remnant” – go to hell when they die.

But sing a protest song in a church and get 2 years hard labour… F’ing crazy!

  3. Outrageous!

He should have been made an example of, if the Russians really are not persecuting LGBTIs!

  4. Religious nutters at it again.
If that man had been Muslim, or Gay, he would have been locked up for at least five years, probably under terrorism offenses.
But, because he’s a member of the biggest cult in Russia he’s permitted to assault, attack, abuse and potentially mortally wound anyone he f**king likes.

Welcome to Russia, sh*t hole of stupidity.

Wrong. This is not the masked intruder that shot Dima Chizhevsky in the eye. THAT criminal still has not been caught.

This man, Gleb Lihotkin, shot an activist with pepper spray at the Rainbow Flashmob last year.

Next time, check your facts, Pink News.

  6. Why am I not frucking surprised?!?

  7. Boycott anything Russian or which vaguely supports Russia, including IOC and Coca-cola and McDonalds.

  8. Russia is beginning to look like 1920s/1930s Germany – fascist government, right-wing vigilantes and Biblically-justified scapegoats. Given that millions of Russians died fighting fascism it is a tragedy to see Russia following in the footsteps of Adolf Hitler.

    1. Good article in today’s Guardian where one Russian asserts that they’re “all mad in Russia” or something similar. Worth reading.

  9. Russia is one place I have no interest in ever visiting. Full of corruption on the one hand and a church that turns a blind eye to it, while encouraging violence against its own gay people. What a terrible place.
