  1. Mr. Poole, please let us examine the script and react accordingly.

    this is sad.

I know the Archbishop of Wales is very supportive on gay issues and has tried to lead the church away from the scandals of the past and the nastiness more recently.

I live in Cardiff, and, while not a believer, some of my closest friends have been clergymen, so I do have a feel for where Barry Morgan (archbishop) stands

Let this be a lesson to all, a Church might “claim” to be welcoming of all, but they have this belief that they are superior and have the right to attack others at will. This is the foundation of organized religion, and no matter what people say about being “modern” and “welcoming”, they will always attack you when they have the chance.

These places are packed to the rafters with dictatorial bigots. They will not change. They are there simply because they are spineless and cannot face life without some “guardian” looking over them, and they cannot live without having someone to abuse.

    1. Absolutely nailed it, BlokeToys.

  4. I was deeply saddened to read this article. As a gay man, a Christian, and a member of Llandaff Cathedral Choir, I have had a thoroughly positive experience of working there. Whilst I am unable to attend as often as I did when I was full time, i know nothing of any script and have never received anything but affirmation and support for being who i am from friends, colleagues and clergy at the cathedral. I’m sure that my other gay friends there would concur.
