    WOW!!! this makes as much sense as allowing people to choose their own spiritual, political and social expressions!

  2. How is every news outlet getting this wrong? It’s NOT a third gender, it’s the option of not having to assign the child a gender.

    It’s NOT EVEN AN OPTION: parents of “ambigous” newborns are PROHIBITED to register them as ‘m’ of ‘f’, but are forced to leave the entry ‘blank’.

    Organistions of persons concerned in Germany and abroad CRITICISE that this will lead to even more mutilating FORCED COSMETIC GENITAL SURGERIES on healthy children, and have been demanding legislation against such surgeries for 20 years now, as suggested by the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture and by the Council of Europe (to just mention the most recent two):
