Geography, please. Educate yourself. Be glad this place wasn’t named “Springfield”.

  2. First, Vancouver is in Canada not the US. Second, I wonder if he wanted to do this because of anti-gay bullying or because he was extremely offended that his friend was called gay?

  3. Vancouver is in Canada!!!!

  4. There’s a Vancouver, Washington. It is across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon. This story comes from that Vancouver.

  5. As you can see from this news video, the boy (from Vancouver, WA not Vancouver Canada) has mental issues, and the ‘gay’ bit appears to be a red herring. http://www.koin.com/news/clark-county/judge-rules-on-frontier-middle-school-student-custody-102913

  6. Further proof, as if needed, of the ‘conditioning’ surrounding homosexuality. Schools – and particularly RELIGION – have to be held responsible for this. Until religion stops filling minds with negative messages about the subject, this sort of incident will continue. Schools MUST act EVERY time the word ‘gay’ is used in a negative context. Not to do is tantamount to encouraging bullying – and worse. Far from worrying about the impact on their career if they speak out against homophobic bullying, teachers should be sacked if they encounter it and do nothing.
