  1. The IOC Chief (Bach) is German.

Germany is not exactly a leader in LGBT equality in the Europe of today and even worse, of yesteryear.

  2. For refusing to re-locate these games to a country which is non-discriminatory, the IOC is forever damaged. Russia is in DIRECT contravention on the Olympic movement’s own rules. By allowing them to go ahead, the IOC is being complicit in discrimination. Likewise, sponsors of the games, including Coca Cola. If this was a race issue, there would have been international condemnation of Russia’s discriminatory law. It just shows how much homophobia remains bubbling under the surface. The IOC has been totally cowardly. I, for one, will not be watching a SINGLE second of what I have started calling the Russian Homophobic Winter Games.

What’s the chances that this Bach guy is actually homophobic and agrees with the new Russian Anti-gay laws?

I definitely think we should broadcast widely that the IOC supports discrimination. We should ask our countries to stop supporting it with time, money and broadcasting.

Yes Russia is wrong but worse the IOC supports Russia and turns a blind eye. Lets use the internet.
