  1. The punishment for those responsible for these type of hateful crimes has to be very harsh. It is the only way to get into the mindset of the homophobes who do this. I hope new laws in Chile will go some way towards this, but i think some will just see it as another hurdle to overcome. How do you take the hate out of the hater? Shockingly sad on so many levels including the poor police and emergency services responce. Proberbly best avoid Chile for a South American vacation.

    At last Chile is taking anti gay assaults seriously. There will be no pain without gain, sadly.

  3. I wonder what if the catholic church and other religious homophobes will comment? Will they say, ‘we deeply regret our messages of hatred which incite this sort of violence’ …. or … ‘we welcome any action of this type which potentially reduces the homosexual population – for that is our mission’? Evil, wicked and vomit-inducing.
