    GOOD.
    Now fly away Dumbo…..fly away…..

    1. Please don’t compare this vile stupid bigoted wretch to Dumbo – Dumbo was ridiculed for being different – but he was able to fly because of his difference and became the star of the circus.

      1. Mark-the reason Brett compared Poots to Dumbo was the size of his fckn ears!!!!

It’s ludicrous that this man has been allowed to use public monies to fund his personal vendetta against the LGBTQ community – it cannot be described as anything other and is shameful. This man no longer qualifies as a public servant and should be removed from office, required to pay back the public money he has squandered and make a public apology for the damage he has done to the reputation of the Northern Ireland Health Departmen.

It’s not just his personal vendetta. The DUP all have a vendetta against anyone not falling into their White Straight Protestant view of the world.

      1. I don’t think that’s strictly true. I defy anyone to use the word ‘nuanced’ in relation to the DUP, but I don’t think their bigotry is derived from ‘deeply held religious convictions’. Rather in the time I spent in the North dealing first hand with the legacy of the Troubles, I felt the DUP didn’t waste time on ‘nobodies’ and preferred to spend their energy snickering and double- or triple-jobbing for extra cash.

I suspect Mr Poots hasn’t won any friends in the Good Old Party, er, I mean DUP through this crusade as we party big-wigs don’t seem to be falling over each other to queue up behind him. Instead I suspect that they’ve decided to abandoned their village idiot and stay focused on the ‘real issues’ (aka vote-winners) like fighting water charges.

Great news but expected. Thank you Supreme court.

Now people get this pratt the Northern Ireland Health Minister Poots sacked and out of politics. He should not be there.

  4. Brilliant! A victory for equality over religious bigotry. This nerd should be made to pay all wasted legal costs fom his own pocket.

Just another nutter driven by hate. I dread to think what else floats in his head. If he didn’t hate gays he would find something else to hate, it seems to be his ‘raison d’être’, a gross character flaw.
