    It looks like the NI administration will appeal because it sets a serious precedent for Westminster over-ruling other NI decisions.
    They should be worried too: if the NI blood ban is “irrational” so is the NI refusal to allow LGBT marriage.

    Northern Ireland First Minister Peter Robinson has said that last week’s court decision to rule against Health Minister Edwin Poots’ continued enforcement of the policy will be subjected to an appeal.
