    Interesting and good news. Looks like there are heavy handed local police etc who want to cause any gay events a problem and some fair legal officials who understand the laws.

    I hope we hear a stream of these. Actually no we should not need this. Educate the police and those who cause gay events problems.

    Two representatives from “bok-o-bok” were in Oslo a few weeks ago. Participating in a queer film festival. ( They received a donation from our gay org. LLH. ) Nice people–I’m so glad they won this appeal. Makes me happy !

  3. Looks like a partial victory at best. They cocked up procedure. Good to know Russian law and judges can be as anal as ours.

    In any case there seems to be a number of legal challenges to the Anti gay laws going on at the moment.

    The problem as I see it is, the Russians didn’t give a damn what the rest of the world thought when they where a communist state and still don’t give a damn.
