RIP Phillip I will always enjoy your music.

Lovely man. Great musician. I wish I could hear you jamming with the angels – I bet it’s a glorious sound.

  3. I loved the Pogues as a student in the 1980s and still feel an urge to pogo around at the sound of any of their raucous hits. It was really good music though! Memories of a wild concert at the Newcastle Mayfair in about 1986. Shane MacGowan was bladdered but brilliant …Unlike some other mad/loud/punk type bands there was never any hint of macho / anti gay posturing. Just exuberantly good fun and a bit of a riot. RIP.
