  1. Don’t her christian views tell her to love her neighbour and do unto others as she’d have done unto herself? Silly bint

My goodness for one so young she has a closed mind….Religion yet again. Speaks volumes. Thank goodness the world is diverse.

In a seat of learning to. Sad

  3. It IS Tennessee, after all. The civilised world has trouble making contact with the bible belt.

  4. “We’re having to fight for the same rights that heterosexual people have to fight for every day”

    What rights are those exactly?
Heterosexuals have full rights compared to us. To say they have to fight for their rights on a daily basis while we can be sacked and evicted just for being gay is retarded!
And i don’t use that word often

Next they’ll be telling us straight people can’t get married…

It’s not HER Christian views. It’s the views of some dead desert guys that someone’s drummed into her.

I hate the religion comparison. We are not a religion, we just are!

  7. This “unpatriotic” assertion irks me almost as much as the fundamentalist thing.
For a portion of the US population patriotism = mindless jingoism, a kind of “my country right or wrong” mentality.
No thought required so long as you salute the sanctioned version of the flag.
I guess we have the same types over here but our St George cross got co-opted by rightwing pressure groups and football hooligans some while back, and now it’s a way to spot a bigot at 300 paces.

  8. That absurdly stupid woman should realise that if there’s anything for her to be patriotic about, it’s that the US Constitution is a secular document.

Her comparison of sexuality with a chosen or indoctrinated belief system is, of course, bollocks.

Has she seen her Mississippi state flag?
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Mississippi
It still contains the Confederate flag; a very controversial symbol of pro-slavery. Any attempt to redesign the flag to remove the pro-slavery symbol, gets voted down.

To many people outside the “Bible belt”, it is synonymous with “Let’s all drink some beer, drive the pick-up truck, shoot a few road signs, and go beat the crap out of some defenseless nigger or faggot”.

You gotta love Christian values: All the flavor of Nazism without the symbols and tailored uniforms.

By the way, even Hitler didn’t have the balls to use a naked man being publicly executed via crucifixion as an effective symbol of terror and threat. You know he had seen it, and probably thought, “Now, THAT’S fucked up.” Then said to his generals, “Let’s just go with Frank’s idea, that shape he had seen in India.”

“patriotism – the last refuge of a scoundrel”
