  1. Watching these freaks trying to invoke logic? Laughing out loud.

I would point out that the comments are subtexually dehumanising, in that it instructs readers that we don’t know or have our own feelings, don’t love like they do and are different and therefore cannot expect equal treatment. It’s nothing but a deliberate act of othering, and quite obvious to anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together…

..which rules out the knuckle-dragging paint-lickers that make up their membership list.

“There is no logical argument in favour of gay marriage?” Give me a f_cking break! Demented loon.

  3. “But this was a good episode. I laughed. I cried. I felt. It moved me like good art is supposed to do. But that’s the problem. It moved me. It made me feel joy for Cam and Mitchell after the Supreme Court over-ruled California’s Prop 8.”

That’s the way Satan works, Evan. Our real goal is to reach out to every person in TV land and turn them GAY. Keep watching.

  4. is “dangerous”, because it uses “feelings which mislead” its viewers liking gay people

    1. Yep, you’ve got to watch out for empathy… if you ever empathise with two people who love each other it’s cause Satan made you do it.
Better to treat every gay person in love as intrinsically untrustworthy.

The dogma is strong with this one.

      1. These people rely on sexual apartheid and the segregation of gay people to peddle their fear and division. Once someone you know comes out of the closet then you aren’t just talking about “the gays” anymore; you’re talking about your friend, family or co-worker.

They don’t want gay characters on TV because people will become attached to them and puts a positive image in their mind as apposed to the evil drug addicted prostitute drag queen demon that’s “destroying society”

  5. Oh for f**ks sake. Yet another self-hater. Why don’t these people just give in to their repressed impulses and have a bit of a gay fling? We’d ALL be a lot happier if they did because we would no longer have to endure their constant projected self-loathing.

  6. “Watch a classic sitcom, but know that what you are seeing is fiction and not a realistic portrayal of realty.”

“But this was a good episode. I laughed. I cried. I felt. It moved me like good art is supposed to do. But that’s the problem. It moved me. It made me feel joy for Cam and Mitchell after the Supreme Court over-ruled California’s Prop 8.”

The problem is that this person like many other religious people have been taught that our love is fraudulent. That this show, which demonstrates the reality that we DO have the capacity to genuinely love, this rubs him and those like him the wrong way. These cannot handle truth that conflicts with religious beliefs. Kudos to the show!

  7. Christian left stunned and troubled after watching plot about a gay couple being in love and wanting to commit within the law… and finding that he doesn’t dislike them for it!

Some days more than others I am REALLY glad not to be religious.

    1. This man’s comments prove beyond doubt the struggle ‘the religious’ have with gay issues. On the one hand, they have been taught to hate us. On the other, their genuine emotions of empathy and love kick in. Isn’t it disgusting and shameful that we allow an organisation called ‘the church’ to cause such division and confusion, especially to young minds? Religious education should be forbidden until someone reaches 18. After all, you can’t see scarey films until that age but religion is allowed to f**k up minds in kindergarten. Things MUST change.

  8. What a muppet. How do people like this survive in this world, they must struggle to get out of bed in the morning and try to fit in with a world they are incapable of understanding.

  9. Its a very mixed message he is saying. By the looks of things in his mind he is still in denial that equal marrage is a good thing as he is unable to come up with any logical argument against it.

When people have views on a topic its not easy to change them. It is equally very difficult to admit that you where wrong. Alot of what you dont understand or misunderstand overtime can be corrected / filled in gradually with better knowledge. Alot of homophobia (and other descrimination) is due to not fully understanding something that is different.

Over time it will be programs like this showing ‘normal’ everyday people that just happen to be gay that will allow people who havn’t come across gay people to understand that essentially we are all the same. We make mistakes, we fall in love, we shit, we breathe and so on just like everyone else.

By him saying that the show ‘moved him’ gives me hope that one day those that have protested adamantly against all things gay will see sense.

  10. Oh, gee, it must be disconcerting for them to be confronted with genuine emotions, not that fantasy they’ve concocted to justify their bigotry.

  11. It is dangerous in that it gives another shake to the foundation of your house of cards, which is already in a precarious condition. Release the hate and fear. Enjoy what life has to offer, rather than skittering from shadow to shadow.

  12. If that ass hat isn’t gay he knows nothing about what gay life is like and cannot refer to it as fiction. What an idiot

  13. Jock S. Trap 1 Oct 2013, 7:34am

I’m Gay, Proud and that’s reality… Get over it!

Nothing more dangerous that the very people accusing others of being dangerous.

  14. Yes, because as a gay man, I don’t have real feeling do I?

    Idiot!

  15. That There Other David 1 Oct 2013, 10:08am

It’s dangerous to dogma. For all the right reasons.

  16. I can assure this moron that happy, loving, valid Gay relationships are very much “a realistic portrayal of reality” And there is lots of solid proof of this – unlike his sad and dying religious faith.

  17. Translation = Nutty right wing group of religiously befuddled bigots complains that society is moving on and they are being ignored for their outdated opinions.

I think it’s time we started moving on from this and ignoring these loudmouth idiots. They represent a tiny minority of dictatorially minded individuals who have no power, no influence and no place in the furthering of society.

Reporting on these instances is like reporting on a Texas redneck in the middle of nowhere who still holds racists views and shouts it from his rooftop for passers by to hear. It actually makes no difference at all to any of us and is pretty irrelevant.

    1. You forget about people like Scott Lively and Bryan Fischer. While these two are a mere joke in the United States, the UK and Europe, these two have had profound impact on African countries like Uganda in passing draconian laws against gay people. As stated on an article here in the past week, Scott lively is proud of getting the big fish Russia to do his bidding. In these things I say do not underestimate someone that is determined to destroy us all. Until that day comes when society has fully recognized and embraced us as a unique and different people, we must always remain dutifully aware about these “loudmouths”.

  18. those pod people that follow that color’n book of connect the belief system that best suits their bigorty…is lauighable at this day and age that reporters think that they are STILL news worthy!

  19. …this is what really is happening–certain people seem to think that ‘Gays’ aren’t and shouldn’t be taken seriously, ie: about their lifestyles and likes and dislikes. Even though they may tolerate Gays the judgement is there..
