Here she is again- the lovely and strong Masha. My favourite person in Russia today ! Fearless and intelligent. What a superb trans-person. We have a lot to learn from this angel, dear friends.

+1 Best of luck, your courage will live forever

  3. Masha!!! I can’t believe you’re running for president! I’d be lying if I said I think you’ll be successful, but damn girl, what courage and bravery you have for just running. May you set an example for all in Russia! The upmost respect to you, much love.

  4. I wish her the best and hope nothing bad happens to her. She should win a prize for bravery!

  5. Good for her although it will be far from an easy ride! The fact that she could be standing could be seen as gay propaganda. That is what is so wrong about this law. In effect it prohibits any gay lesbian bisexual or transgender from participating in anything publicly whilst at the same time being open about ones sexuality. I hope international leaders rally for her.

  6. I wish her well, but there is absolutely no chance of success, I’m sure she knows that though and is planning to use this as a great tool for exposing the bigotry and corruption.

Obviously, there are laws against “non-traditional sexual identities” in Russia, and it’s an extremely misogynistic nation. The idea of a trans, bisexual with female identity becoming President of Russia is a non-starter.

She’s amazingly brave though, and I really wish her every success in this campaign.

I really hope Mash becomes the next Russian President. It would fix so much that is broken, there.
