Former Spice Girl Mel B has confirmed rumours that she had a lesbian relationship with friend Christa Parker.

During an interview with controversial US radio host Howard Stern, the UK singer was asked about rumours she had a five year lesbian relationship with the mother-of-two. Asked whether she was ever in love with Parker, the 38-year-old said: “I would say so.”

When pressed by Stern, Mel B said that the relationship had ended because “women are crazy.”

Rumours of the relationship circulated in 2007, when tabloids alleged that Mel B had embarked on a lesbian affair with Parker after meeting at the school where both their children were pupils.

The former Spice Girl said at the time: “People call me lesbian, bisexual or heterosexual, but I know who’s in my bed and that’s it … I have a huge libido and a great sex life.”

Brown was also asked during the interview with Stern whether she was ever attracted to any of her fellow Spice Girls, to which the singer replied: “Always, they’re my homies.”

She added: “I’ve kissed all of them, yes. I got my tongue pierced and I wanted to try it out so I kissed all of them.”

Mel B married long-term friend and film producer Stephen Belafonte in 2007. The couple have a two-year-old daughter together, Madison.
