  1. No different from those in the past who crowed and cheered for racial segregation. And this man does have a vested interest in perpetuating orientation-type segregation – once the federal law changes (and it will, matter of time) his little hate-foundation will probably lose its tax-favourable status and he will lose his six figure income.

Nothing but a carnival barker of hate, a tedious relic who is watching his bigot-minstry drift ever closer to extinction.

  2. And yet Bryan would be the first to cry “persecution” if it was a ‘Christian free’ boy scouts club.
But then that’s the Christian way of doing things – excluding minorities.
It’s hardly fair on the kids who don’t don’t get to choose their parents delusional beliefs.

  3. Pffft, I give it 5 years! As time goes on, the idea of joining a “gay-free” boy scouts will start to lose its appeal in the modern world as being a kid who goes to a “gay-free” club will be like you were a kid going to a “black-free” club in the 1960′s and slowly but surely this will stop being a good thing and start to seem very, very wrong

I hadn’t thought of it like that – uncool to be in the gay free club. I feel for those kids who will send them to that club though, as the indoctrination they’re put through must be dreadful. It’s abuse, really. The tide is definitely turning and hopefully those kids will see that outside their club no-one else supports LGBT rights and they are very much the pariahs of society, outsiders in their own generation.

I’ve just read that back and realised what nonsense I’ve written. I mean those kids will see everyone else supports LGBT rights. And when I say ‘those kids will send them…’ I mean those kids who will be sent. Good grief!

  4. How many listeners does this show have?

    Is it even 1000?

Pink News’ relentless promotion of bigotry is utterly appalling.

No other gay site gay bashes its readership quite as much as this site

    1. I think it’s essential to ‘know your enemies’ so that you can counter their childish, pathetic, religiously-inspired homophobic abuse. Millions of Jews may well have been saved from the gas chambers if the civilised world had known earlier what The Third Reich was doing. Same with Russia today. Are you saying you’d rather bury your head in the sand and allow Putin to victimise gay people in secret? I, for one, want to be ready. So, the more negative publicity these total nut-jobs are given, the less likely it is that rank and file christians will want anything to do with them.

    2. Steve – On his radio show in 2012 Fischer had many of the Republican candidates for President, OK the wingnuts (Bachmann, Cain and Santorum). He is not at all on the fringe of the evangelical right in the US and a very close eye must be kept on him.

    3. About one million.

      Yes, really.

      1. Out of a population of nearly 317 million….? Not what you’d call a huge audience, is it? But if each one of his devoted homophobic followers sends in just a single dollar a year – it’s not surprising he keeps pandering to his fellow disgusting bigots, is it?

        1. Better to measure it out of the population that listens to talk radio.

  5. Do they have white only scouts as well? In the UK this would be against the 2010 Equality Act!

  6. Bryan Fischer is one of the most camp homophobes on the planet right now , LOL

These evangelists are not only ignorant, they’re utterly naive. Does this fool actually believe that an exclusive society is possible in the modern world? The Amish people come closest to a sustainable exclusive society, but under far different circumstances.
I would ask this person, if he has an iota of reason in his brain, what happens to idealistic utopian societies – which is what he is talking about, but doesn’t realize it . They ultimately disintegrate, through assimilation, etc. There is no way that they can be held together, except by the point of a gun. The issue of gay life will always come to the surface and demand addressing.

meh. Broadcasting the bigotry suits his listeners, gives him kudoes and status (see above) and pays the bills.

Bearing in mind his equally nauseating colleague, Limbaugh, had Elton John (the traitor) perform at his second or third wedding, it can be seen that their homophobia is largely $-driven
