  1. Meh – not sure why it’s being reported. I don’t see this specifically as homophobic – more a case of a random looney doing what random loonies do.

      It is homophobic, because the question ‘are you gay’ is being used as a slur against the site manager. I think you knew that though, yes?

  2. Sorry to be pedantic but it was the magistrates who did the fining not the police.

  3. I though the courts fined people. The police only charge people and refer to the prosecution service. So they have no control over fines. Lazy reporting!

    1. I think they can issue on the spot fines for some things, but this isn’t one of them

    He blames the alcohol, but I’ve drank plenty, and I know that the only assholishness that alcohol brings out is already inside. I seriously doubt that he’s sorry for how he behaved, just that he now faces the consequences for it.
