DC are guilty of many stupid executive decisions so this is hardly surprising. Shame though; the new Batwoman has a decent, three-dimensional personality and it’s too bad her arc isn’t going to be finished as planned.

  2. I expect they’ll gey Orson Scott Card to write it now !

  3. Cowardly and homophobic. DC should be totally ashamed of themselves. Would they have reacted the same I wonder if this had been about inter-racial marriage ….?

Any time creatives are strongarmed by talentless suits I want blood. I’m glad these individuals have taken a stand, but I despair for DC that they could allow this situation to arise in the first place.

  5. Hmmm. Anyone interested in organising a DC Comics boycott unless the executive backs down on this?

Added to which, one does wonder about another DC lesbian couple, the Legion of Superheroes’ Shrinking Violet and Lightning Lass. Does this explain why they haven’t tied the knot yet?
