  1. Stench of BS coming from that vile man would be indescribable. He is nothing but an opportunist hatemonger and no one with 2 brain cells to rub together would believe a word of the mental incontinence that dribbles from him.

In short – Lies. He must think we are as thick as the cretins in his own country he (and his party, and the orthodoxy) have managed to bamboozle with magical nonsense and other such asinine hogwash.

  2. Yeah right Putin. Funny video where Putin performs “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”.

  3. Sorry Vlad, you are wrong and you know it.

When people are banned from saying anything positive about gay people and being gay under threat of arrest, fines and imprisonment then there is certainly discrimination against gay people in Russia.

If gay people must hide their sexuality, cannot hold hands in public, cannot hold peaceful public assemblies then gay people are being discriminated against in Russia.

If anti-gay brutalityand even torture is taking place, even being encouraged as it is and no action is being taken against the perpetrators by the police or state then gay people are being made into vulnerable scapegoats and they are being discriminated against in Russia.

Russia is engaged in a cleansing, a pogrom against gay people who must go into hiding to survive.

  4. Lies, of course, but interesting that he has been forced to be defensive. Messages getting through?

  5. Typical lie of hating majority. It’s like making law that “bans being black” and then arguing, that it’s not discimination, because white people have to follow the law as well. :-/

  6. Vladimir Putin: “There is no discrimination against gay people in Russia. Also, our elections are totally not rigged, I’ve never had a journalist murdered, and my farts smell of roses and cure cancer.”

    1. His farts cure cancer, you say?
I thought it was that his nose hairs cure Cerebral Palsy.

  7. Of course there isn’t homophobia from Putin’s government,. Just like a Russian citizen wasn’t murdered in a London Sushi Bar a few years back?

Guess it’s easier to choice to be blind than see the fact that homophobia and discrimination reign in Russia.

The biggest piece of discrimination, however, surely is this law which discriminates against us but in particularly to children.

    How can that be right?

    Fact… it’s not!

  9. Yes… and there’s no tea in China.

  10. I am from Russia. Putin is a liar

  11. Roots of Russia’s move toward making today”s gays as Nazis once made the Jews.

“The national government will maintain and defend the foundations on which the power of our nation rests. It will offer strong protection to Christianity as the very basis of our collective morality. Today Christians stand at the head of our country. We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit. We want to burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theater, and in the press – in short, we want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of liberal excesses during recent years.” – Hitler

The Speeches of Adolph Hitler, 1922-1939, Vol. 1 (London, Oxford University Press, 1942), pg. 871-872

    1. When I read that quote, I thought I was reading a speech by Putin until I got to the name ‘Hitler’ at the end. That is SCAREY! The parallels are SO similar.

  12. … and the recent anti-gay legislation you introduced is …?

  13. Mumbo Jumbo 4 Sep 2013, 1:08pm

In other news, bears have stopped utilising tree cover and have installed flushing toilets with handbasins.

  14. Yeah Right … that didnt work Mr. Putin. next …!

  15. VILE HUMAN LIAR

  16. did this guy have a bowl of frosted mini dementia flakes for breakfast?…who’s he try’n to kid?

  17. That’s right, Pukin’, there is no discrimination against GLBT people in Russia just like the KGB was an organisation actively involved in the promotion of democracy in the Soviet Union. You’re lucky to have caught me on my day off; most days I am not this gullible.

  18. sure mr putin and according to iran’s ex president mr dinnerjacket there are no gay people in iran. deluded nutters

  19. Yeah?

And Rose West was a good Mother???

    K U N T

  20. And the Nazis did not discriminate against the Jews, either. Tell me another one.

  21. A bit like Robert Mugabe saying there is no electoral fraud in Zimbabwe or the Vatican declaring that the catholic church has no blood on its hands.

  23. Derek Williams 6 Sep 2013, 5:37pm

Yet the Putin government has just funded a biopic portraying that Tchaikowsky was heterosexual!

  24. It is the same old line – I don’t have a problem with gays, because …. I know gay people.

Pathetic and desperate. He has been caught out using a largely ignorant and homophobic electorate as cannon fodder to gain electoral support. This was the tactic of his great chum Berlusconi, in Italy.

The good thing is now the world is watching on something he thought was domestic.

    1. sorry should have read … ‘He has been caught out using gays as cannon fodder of a largely ignorant and homophobic electorate in order to gain electoral support…

  25. Homosexuality is just OCD, obsession with the same gender. Many treatments exist to help you live a healthy reproductive life. Get help.

  26. I hold everybody to same social standard. Is your action decent for healthy children to see? If it is indecent, then it must not be allowed in public.
