  1. … SOME men, you homophobic, brainwashed imbecile.

  2. Us gays are just as nature intended us to be.

We are caring, considerate and compassionate. Something this old fool will never be.

  3. Delon? A washed up has-been who hasn’t made a film appearance for close to 20 years and whose career peaked in his 20s?

Who cares about the ramblings of a narcissistic dinosaur?

  4. Self-righteousness bigot. Thank goodness most people don’t believe that he should be in a nursing home, so younger people don’t have to look at his him?

  5. Cardinal Fang 3 Sep 2013, 2:36pm

One of the handsomest men in history, who played Tom Ripley in Plein Soleil. Surprising that he is so anti.

  6. Delon began his career as a whore. A reformed whore usually becomes more pious than the pope.

  7. Dave North 3 Sep 2013, 2:41pm

    Christ! Is he still alive….

    1. That There Other David 3 Sep 2013, 8:47pm

Only from the neck down apparently.

  8. “Natural” means, “found in nature”. Since homosexuality is found everywhere in nature that it’s been looked for, it can’t be unnatural.

One male/one female marriage and adoption on the other hand could be called unnatural because both conditions are extremely rare, if not non-existent, among mammals in the wild.

    1. de Villiers 3 Sep 2013, 6:37pm

Sadly, that is not what conservative religious people mean when they talk of it being unnatural. Otherwise it would be too easy.

There were countless rumours about this guy’s sexuality at the height of his fame.
    Just saying.

    1. “Me thinks the (self-loathing) lady doth protest too loudly”.

  10. I’ve always thought straight guys should actually be greatful that some men are gay, just means more women for them right? I’m very handsome and my future husband will probably be very handsome so there’s 2 hot guys out of the competition right there – no doubt a lovely lady would rather date me than that crusty old frog

  11. All mammalian species show homosexual traits, yet only one appears to show homophobia. What did you say was ‘natural/unnatural’, again?

It’s funny, lots of traditional macho men used to say the same thing about actors and artists, etc. That they were doing something unmanly.
    Is Alain Delon unmanly?

It’s International news, I guess, and perhaps it is significant to someone in France, but I’ve never heard of him, and I’ve looked through the films he’s been in, and I haven’t seen any, so luckily I won’t have to ban any from my library. I still don’t watch any films with Mel Gibson in, but honestly I’m ignoring Ernest Borgnine’s comments – double-standards eh? And Borgnine was a bit of a hypocrite, married 5 times !!! Besides Ice Station Zebra (1968), The Poseidon Adventure (1972), The Black Hole (1979), and Escape from New York (1981) were iconic (at least at the time). Besides, it wasn’t really a terrible disapproval

    Live and let live.

    1. What a clown, and I was so in love with him when I was 16 years old.
I’m sure he and that fool Brigitte Bardot have much to say to each other.

    2. Alain Delon is a cinema legend, one of the most iconic actors in history.
When my gay uncle was a closeted teenager in the 1970s, he fell obsessively in love with him, which sadly triggered his schizofrenia and premature death.

There is a great film by a gay director Rene Clement, called Purple Noon (1960). It is the older, better and non-homophobic version of Talented Mr. Ripley, where he plays the titular gay character. A masterpiece!

Delon also stars in some of the best films by Luchino Visconti, the legendary gay director.

    3. You’ve never seen Visconti’s The Leopard or Antonioni’s The Eclipse?

  13. Alan who?

  14. He was once an absolutely gorgeous-looking young man. Seems, however, that he was a simple-minded one.

  15. great! another non heterosexual who fell off the turned-down truck…cuz no one wanted him anymore!

    http://getoffmydress.blogspot.com/2013/09/neurotica.html

  16. “Men are here to “love a woman” and not to “flirt with or get picked up by guys.” Are you sure? Once people thought the Sun revolves around the earth. it was stupidity and against nature to maintain the opposite.

  17. One of my favourite actors, a muse of many gay directors, who also played gay roles (perhaps unknowingly). So the joke is on him.

  18. Also, Delon is straight… but only officially. :)

  19. de Villiers 3 Sep 2013, 6:38pm

I am surprised that Alain Delon loves women – the only person he has ever loved has been himself! He is famous for being vain.

    1. de Villiers 3 Sep 2013, 6:40pm

The films in which he appeared when he was younger showed him to be a very attractive man: http://www.peoplefam.com/images/Alain-Delon-04.jpg. It is a shame that he has said these things.

  20. Well, it’d seem the rumours an elderly French friend of mine once told me about Delon were wrong, then.

    Or maybe not …

    1. “Show me a homophob – I’ll show you a closet case”.

  21. Sad that a man who was once a gay pin-up (and profited from his attraction for both sexes) has become so blinkered and bigoted in his dotage. Senility has clearly set in.

  22. “Men”.

Real men do not spend there working lives “playing” at being things they are not.

Real men grow up and deal with life.

Actors are paid to pretend to be something they are not.

So go F yourself. EX ACTOR.

  23. This guy belongs in a museum.

Society has moved so far ahead. If what he said was not so vile it could almost be considered quant that someone still thinks like this.

At the end of the day the guy has made a fool of himself. Imagine getting stuck at a dinner table with someone that thinks like he does.

  24. Justusboyz 4 Sep 2013, 3:03am

Beauty fades but dumb is forever.

  25. Cade in Aus 4 Sep 2013, 3:09am

    Lucky women…

  26. In the early 70´s I met one of His lovers
(Male!) in Stockholm, even saw a picture
    of them together!

  27. ..this guy is so full of crap! I really am surprised and expected more from him considering the amount of years in the acting profession. For a start he should grow up and realize most things in this world are not just black and white..ie: woman are meant to be wooed by men and men are not meant to picked up by other men up!! And he ought to know and be grateful for gay couples who adopted unwanted children–I mean what else would happen to them?? Although tit must be said you need to understand he probably got hit upon so many times by men in his profession that it made him fed up with the whole gay World–

  28. Men are also meant to acknowledge their children, whether born in or out of wedlock.

  29. Robert in S. Kensington 4 Sep 2013, 5:44pm

And probably a supporter of Manif pour Tous!

  30. How ironic that he would make such a comment given that he was renowned for giving such good head as a youth. Perhaps he has arteriosclerosis of the brain and has forgotten what a lovely, playful young man he was…

  31. According to what I have read, Mr. Delon is bisexual, having had an affair with one of his film directors, Visconti, among others, what a hypocrite! I guess in his world, being gay is ok, as long as you don’t adopt? He is a dinosaur, who has not been relevant in films for many decades, go home, old man!

  32. Alain! Don’t pay attentionto all these…You are the greatest, the most handsome in the world!we love you!

  33. Colin Cass 8 Sep 2013, 5:06pm

You old has been Delon! you are still living in a deluded world where being GLBT was illegal everywhere.Join the thoughts of you’r modern day France,Old dinasaures like you are extinct.AS Bob Dylan wrote ”get out of the new world if ya can’t lend a hand! times they are a’changin.

    1. How wicked you are!He is a great actor and what are you? He is handsome even now. I wish I could see you at his age!He expressed his point of view politely, and you are so agressive.
