  1. I have my doubts. But if it is happening, I hope he makes a big deal out of doing it.

  2. Tit for tat ? Little Vladimir has offered to send Russian representatives to lobby the U.S. Congress against any campaign against Syria. The propaganda war between the U.S. and Russia is escalating. Given President Obama’s track record on LGBT rights and the many speeches he’s given in support, he probably will follow through with plans to meet activists, including Russian LGBTs.

    1. Syria has provided a convenient distraction from the issue of gay rights in Russia. Is Putin cynical enough to use the deaths of thousands to protect his Olympic vanity project?
      My guess is yes, absolutely!

  3. Wonderful idea! Good luck, Mr President!

  4. Vladimir was caught twirling around singing along to Sinitta’s ‘So Macho’ he wants it played every time he appears in public now. President Obama is planning on having a rainbow flag on the Presidential limo just for the visit to Russia along with the official flag of the President.

  5. Publicity stunt

    1. Yeah because the president of the united states needs the publicity, I hear his album sales are declining !

    2. Obama cannot stand for a third term, the Constitution forbids it. He has nothing to lose or gain from his principled stance.

…whilst spying on our private cals and internet activity and considering whether to bomb the hell out of hundreds of thousands of innocent Syrians.

    Go fi-gure, Mr. President!

I really hope this is true. Remember that he is arguably the most powerfull man in the world and that he dosent have to take this position.Much as I dont agree with all of Obamas politics ,or Camerons for that matter, they have accepted LGBT rights as human rights and are doing their best to promote them. They both take considerable political risks in doing so.

I hope no Russians suffer from this gesture! All very well for President Obama but he’ll leave Russia.

  9. He cancelled a meeting with Putin and is having a meeting with LGBT activists instead; this is a good sign! As much as you may disagree with Obama on various issues, you can’t deny his stance on LGBT rights is a solid one.

Now let’s see what our own Dave will do.

    1. Don’t hold your breath.
