What they clearly need is a 3rd term on the sidelines, harping on with their anti-gay rhetoric … until they get it, until they understand that their behavior is totally unacceptable, that people will not vote for the GOP whilst it is in this deranged delusional state. They have become extremist, fringe, driven by an ideological position which is totally out of touch with the reality of peoples lives. They will never be taken seriously whilst they are hell-bent on discrimination, homophobia, hate of particular groups, and dominated by the religious right Evangelical movement. They have no real concept of that the separation of state and religion actually means. Where will they be if the Vatican tells bishops to tone it down and accept people who are gay? Further pushed to obscurity.

  2. While I agree that the judges ruling could cause confusion (well for Republicans at least) the judge is, in a way, forcing the state to act. And for that I applaud the judges ruling.

  3. The only ‘reckless’ action here is by Pearce. EVERY time some old homophobe like him voices anti-gay sentiment, a kid somewhere, struggling with their sexuality, hates themselves a little bit more. And bullies too use the words of nob-bags like this to justify their actions. I hope those who elected representatives like this are happy with the blood they undoubtedly have on their hands every time a persecuted teen takes their own life.

I usually frown upon people who make derogatory comments about the appearance of homophobes and associated scumbags in these pages instead of making a reasoned comment or criticism of them. However, on this occasion I am going to make an exception.

Have you ever seen anyone with such ludicrous looks as this piece of detritus?
