I think times are changing and we have change with them. Before i went to university i had never met a transgender individual. I have now meet several and they should have as much right as anyone else. The schools should be supporting these individuals who may be scared and not understand what they are going through. Though there support services like Outline available to them they have to feel like they can talk to someone. http://www.outlinesurrey.org/

It’s still astonishing to me that we are still “granting rights” to people of any kind. It pretty much says that until the majority say so, not everyone deserves the same rights, privileges and and responsibilities. The people who are going to have problems with this are those who will continual to wrap themselves in whatever flavor of ignorance and social insensitivity that they choose and play the victim card about THEIR rights being infringed.
