  1. Tackling homophobia is brilliant. Tackling the CAUSES of homophobia is much more important. Why do we never ask, “WHY are you homophobic …. ?” If recent extensive research in both the USA and Holland is correct, homophobia says MUCH more about the homophobic than they realise …..

  2. I personally think this is a very effective way to reduce homophobia. These kids will learn that there is no real difference between a gay person and a straight person. We all want the same things out of life. A good job, a life partner and to be left alone to live our lives in peace, without harassment or abuse.

    I would like to see this in schools across the country. It would I think, have a big positive benefit in the future.

  3. Gay-Straight Alliances have been successfully organized in high schools and colleges across the U.S. for many years, and have tackled homophobia at its roots. Glad to see this idea taking hold elsewhere.
