    this has been put on a back burner so that there are no votes lost in the independence referendum.

        Correct me if Im wrong but Im sure its back in Sept for more discussion or is it another reading…..something along those lines but its not been put on the back burner and has nothing to do with the independence vote which is a seperate thing altogether as thats a year away

    The Scottish Marriage bill has not been put on the backburner. It was introduced in the Parliament on 26th June. The Parliament’s Equal Opportunities Committee are leading on it and are currently asking for people’s views before starting to discuss the bill in detail in the first week of Sept.
