  1. STFU!! Just because you’re feeling guilty about the COUNTLESS number of c*cks up your @ss, does NOT mean you need to tell the world about it. Get a therapist. And while you’re at it, get your head out of your ass. If you think for a second that GOD gives a sh*t about how many guys sprayed their name inside your @n@l walls, that’s your problem. Don’t turn this into a GOD HATES GAYS agenda. Accept responsibility for the choices YOU made for yourself. Don’t blame Satan or GOD. GO F*CK YOURSELF.

  2. The guy is an idiot.

Here’s a quote from Dr Martin Luther King’s wife Coretta
Dr. Martin Luther King would be a champion of gay rights if he were alive. Gays and lesbians stood up for civil rights in Montgomery, Selma, in Albany, Georgia and St. Augustine, Florida, and many other campaigns of the Civil Rights Movement. Many of these courageous men and women were fighting for my freedom at a time when they could find few voices for their own, and I salute their contributions.

Homophobia is like racism and anti-Semitism and other forms of bigotry in that it seeks to dehumanize a large group of people, to deny their humanity, their dignity and personhood. This sets the stage for further repression and violence that spread all too easily to victimize the next minority group

And Newt Gingrich never said he accepted same-sex marriage. All he said that it was inevitable, nothing more. Typical right wing religious nutter never gets the facts straight.

  5. Nobody takes this drivel seriously anyway -get a life !!!!

  6. And the reason we should take any notice of your made up nonsense, Mr.Gordon Klingenschmitt is……??
Another attempt to discriminate against an innate human minority, because of your personal choice to believe in your own version of bigotry and ignorance.
Trying to use the legacy of a human rights giant, to support that bigotry makes you an idiot.
ML King who by all accounts supported and valued his friend (who he knew was gay) Bayard Rustin who organised the civil rights march on Washington.

  7. What are the audience numbers for this radio show?

    Miniscule, I would wager.

And his audience believes that exact same as he does as they are religious nutters also.

He however has no influence whatsover on the wider world,

So it serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever for Pink News to advertise this extremism.

All it does it legitimise extremist hate speech in the wider media about gay people.

  8. If PN must keep recycling this sort of stuff because it’s another slow news day, then it should at least fill in the gaps.

It starts by saying “Disgraced US Navy chaplain…”,

Why is he in disgrace? I’m none the wiser. Poor journalism again.

    1. Yes, lazy journalism not to explain the “disgrace”. All I could find was “Chaplain Lt. Gordon Klingenschmitt, who protested in uniform against military policies he believed restricted the free exercise of his religion”
I believe it was to do with the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.

And if you come to my hospital, I will discriminate against you.

    No surgery for bigots.

All the quicker to rid the planet of hate.

PS. I’m a cardiologist and do not tolerate these people.

    F. The Hippocratic oath.

They deserve to be removed from the planet.

    Bitterness over.

I would treat him to the best of my ability but its nice to have a grumble.

I simply cannot understand the hate these people have for our very existence.

    1. I love someone who is able to separate their true feelings (and I affirm them), from how you would behave….nice man! :)

We need to decide when it is necessary to counter-attack and when its just a babbling idiot. Countering an idiot that non one has ever heard of only grants said idiot credibility.

For instance: President Pootin’s gay bashing- attack!

    Chaplain Nobody: ignore.

    1. Thinking this over a bit more, I’ll retract my earlier complaint about it being a slow news day ! Unlike the endless “US radio host…” and WBC stories which are a waste of time, this one is just slightly more relevant because of the Navy Chaplain connection.

If this person is typical of Navy Chaplains (hopefully not !) then it would show that the Navy should take more care with its recruitment.

But it would still be interesting to know why he’s in disgrace and whether this is the reason why he’s no longer a Navy Chaplain.

  11. In Sept 2006 he was reprimanded by court martial and his pay docked $3,000 (about 5%) for disobeying an order not to wear his uniform at a protest attempting to pressure Bush into signing an executive order to guarantee chaplains be allowed to pray “in the name of Jesus” as the protesters felt Navy chaplains were being “pressured” to offer non-sectarian prayers at official functions where personnel of diverse faiths would be present.

In March 2007 he was discharged with no pension due to the court martial, recent unsatisfactory performance and below-average marks in an evaluation for military bearing and character.

After he was discharged he released a number of dishonest press releases claiming he was fired for “praying in Jesus’ name” and citing religious persecution. He also prayed for God to kill the leaders of Americans United for Separation of Church and State. Later he studied theology at Pat Robertson’s Regent University, where he already had a divinity degree.

    1. A divinity degree??!! That sounds like a course from Harry Potter’s Hogwarts! LOL

    2. So a lunatic then?

  12. What does a person’s sexual orientation have to do with their character? Nothing.

  13. Didn’t the pope say the other day, “Who am I to judge gay people”? He’s right. Who exactly ARE these self-appointed moral guardians to judge ANYONE? God-bothering busy-bodies making money from guilable, sad, lonely, ignorant and stupid people. I’d say THAT was pretty ‘sinful’. But hey .. who am I to judge …?
