  1. I believe that this isn’t the first poll suggesting this, a majority in favor of same sex marriage. Wasn’t there one a month or so back, on PN, suggesting the same thing? That was also roughly 52%.
    Welcomed news though, nonetheless. I believe it was about 30% in support, in the mid 90s. So that’s a huge change in the right direction, but still nowhere near enough. I do expect it to continue to rise though.

    1. Polls have shown majority support for marriage equality in the U.S. since 2010. This poll asks a different question – not whether you support marriage equality in your own state, but whether you would support a hypothetical federal statute requiring marriage equality in all 50 states.
