This is just to raise awareness and knowledge, of course. P. R. for the cause.

  2. Before people start going mad and boycotting Russian Vodka they need to think… am I already boycotting Jamaican rum, Carribean cruises, Saudi oil, Morroccan dates, Kenyan coffee and the numerous minerals from the Congo that make up the component parts of virtually every modern day electronic device or Smartphone.
Boycotts are well and good and I understand that they are meant to be viewed as an act of solidarity with others, but if we pick and choose which items to boycott then we are tacitly condoning the ruthlessness of those regimes whose products we do not boycott.
In the end only real campaigning and fundraising can be change, not arm chair solidarity.

  3. SOBIESKI is a POLISH vodka NOT Russian !!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. Yeah, sobieski is Polish and we dont have any anti gay laws. Please dont boycott our Vodka!

      1. well, polish constitution favours heterosexual people

        1. Well kind of, it says: the marriage, as a union between a male and a female is protected by the constitution. What you can derive from that is that the marriage, as a union between same sex partners is not protected by the constitution, but still possible, just a possible way to understand it. Btw Kane, it was nice chatting to you yesterday in the club by the river :p See Ya!

  4. well done PN, im sure Belvedere S.A will be thrilled to have their top brand (polish vodka pictured in this article) associated with the boycott campaign article

  5. This boycott of Russian Vodka by bars is a start, now it needs to be notched up with importers and distributors refusing to carry it!

There will be companies who won’t care because for them it is all about the money or amongst them there may be some who don’t care about LGBT equality. If this is the case their consciences need to be provoked to recognize Russia is on a course to violate all human rights, if they continue to distribute or trade products from Russia they are by their actions condoning Putin and his politics!
