  1. It warms my heart that 24 California County Clerk’s (all of whom must stand for election) have filed a brief saying they wish to continue to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. How far we’ve come when public officials come forward to support us solely on their own volition.

    This REALLY is irrelevant. Our federal courts have supremacy over state courts and a federal court has ruled that Prop 8 is unconstitutional. This litigation is done; Over; Finished; Kaput. They lost and they don’t know what to do next.

    California is an equal marriage state and it cannot be undone.

    The RESUMPTION (noun) of same-sex weddings.

    They have agreed to RESUME (verb) same-sex weddings.

    Please spot the difference. It’s painful and makes the writer sound like an idiot.
