The whole concept of a Vatican Bank would have set Jesus overturning tables. Compared to that base heresy right at the heart of the Catholic Church whatever Sig. Ricca gets up to shouldn’t be anything the Pope needs to worry about.

  2. They do seem to be obssessed with the so-called gay lobby- it’s like ‘Reds-under-the-bed’!

    1. Actually we know it is true. Unfortunately the whole clerical life has acted like a huge magnet for many gay male Catholics, albeit at a huge cost fore many. There are some that are well adjusted although I suspect do organise themselves into a network. There are also many that are self loathing, full of hate, and leading destructive dishonest lives.

It is all their own fault though – they created the mess by the way they terrorise boys and young men with their warped view on sex and sexuality.

You might say that the chickens have come home to roost.

  3. But who could he appoint who is not at the centre of some scandal or other? I wonder.

  4. I can’t believe these evil bastards have the audacity to say or do anything against LGBT equality when not only is their reputation in tatters, not only have they lost any kind of credibility because of child abuse scandal, but gay clergy?!? In the VATICAN?! You can’t have openly gay people running around the Vatican and still say you’re anti-gay. Sorry but the world just doesn’t work like that,

They don’t have a leg to stand on so why do people still listen to them?!

In general people don’t listen to them. We probably give them more attention than the average Catholic does.

  5. That “not credible’ made me guffaw. This from a mega-wealthy and powerful institution built entirely on a bunch of ‘not credible’ fairy stories.

  6. They are destroying themselves with hate. Good.

Of course, it never occurs to them that among religious people, Catholics support equal marriage than all others combined.

Let’s not forget the Vatican’s connection with Roberto Calvi, Banco, the general manager of Banco Ambrosiano which was based in Milan with offices in London. The Vatican Bank was Banco Ambrosiano’s main shareholder, and the death of Pope John Paul I in 1978 is rumoured to be linked to the Ambrosiano scandal, giving one of the subplots of The Godfather Part III. Vatican Bank was also accused of funneling covert United States funds to Solidarity and the Contras through Banco Ambrosiano. Lastly, Calvi ended up hanging from a rope from Blackfriar’s bridge in 1982. Nobody can convince me the Vatican wasn’t involved in that.

The Vatican was and always will be one of the most vile and corrupt organisations on the planet.
