I want to show my thanks to you and the Unitarians in the UK for all your work in support of marriage equality.

Where I grew up in Alaska, when my (then) partner (now husband!) and I would seek out fellow thinkers in faith, we would often attend a wonderful Unitarian group there in Anchorage.

Now settled in London, we were drawn to Quakers. We’re so very pleased to have had both religious groups supporting our (finally) Canadian marriage.

Thank-you, from one religious ally to another!

  2. Thanks Jacob. As a unitarian, I certainly am proud of the way the denomination has handled this. I hope it will encourage people to find out more about us (and Quakers and Liberal Judaism) cos I think there’s still a big a place in life for the ritual and community of liberal religion.
