    So sad.

    1. I think the UK and other countries should learn from Russia in order to protect children.

Well done Putin for signing the law same day as this:
“The six-year-old Russian boy was adopted by two gay men who were arrested after it emerged they were members of a paedophile ring.”

Another cesspool of a country to boycott.

I hop the Olympics is pulled from this dump.

I totally agree. We the gay people who have rights now need to get a campaigne going to get the Olympic moved from Russia. We need to motivate our politicians and ensure no money from the UK is used in our names.

      Sport has responsibility as well.

  4. So he thinks Russia doesn’t have enough children sitting around waiting for adoption in outright dangerous places run by the state?
That’s all that’s going to happen here. Banning loving families, and single parents in other countries from adopting these kids, it only means more and more Russian kids will be condemned to state-funded neglect and a lifetime of detriment. Just for the sake of a few stroked egos.

Considering the quality of care that children receive when waiting for adoption, he should have signed a law requiring all the children to be evacuated from Russia, not one that locks them all in.

  5. Imagine a country which brought legislation in that didn’t allow black couples, muslim couples, christian couples from adopting. There would be worldwide condemnation, sanctions, embargoes. But as usual, Russia can do/say/ legislate what it wants against LGBT people and World leaders remain silent.

  6. I’m just wondering if Putin will ever have the balls to come out of the closet! His homophobic policies are making him look more and more like some American evangelist who will shortly be found to be what he rails against!!!

    1. That might be why he recently passed a law outlawing any mention of homosexuality that isn’t overwhelmingly negative. If he gets caught, reporters in the country would have to either risk their lives by being critical of their president, or just drop the story and say nothing.

Actually, thinking about it, the time of his passing of that particular law, and the time of his divorce from his wife are suspiciously close together.

  7. Well done Putin. Signing the law same day as this:
“The six-year-old Russian boy was adopted by two gay men who were arrested after it emerged they were members of a paedophile ring.”

    Child abuse in Putun
    children’s community (((

    1. So you are trying to tar all gay people as being paedos? Why don’t you tar all straight people as paedos because of Stuart Hall or Jimmy Savile? moron.

      1. No, I’m talking about the wall of silence ignoring child abuse because the people doing it label themselves ‘gay’ which in PC language means they are the ‘victims’ not the children .So-called fear of being ‘homo-phobic’ in other words criticising a debased , unhealthy lifestyle choice. It’s a big story the Pink propaganda machine seems to ignore …

        1. white squirrel 5 Jul 2013, 7:16pm

this ignores the fact that the vast majority of paedophilia is by hetrosexual males abusing their preschool daughters

  9. white squirrel 5 Jul 2013, 7:08pm

this law says nothing about a gay individual marrying someone of the opposite sex and then adopting a Russian child and then once the child is there; divorcing and remarrying their own gender.
    and what about transgendered individuals?
will the CSB/Spetznaz be sent to kidnap the children back ?

  10. russian girl 24 Jul 2013, 6:24pm

Leave Russian kids alone. It’s like a f.n slave trade with children. Sick industry. I’m so happy this law is passed.
