  1. Point of information: The Supreme Court dismissed the Prop 8 case (Hollingsworth v. Perry) on standing, i.e., the appellants did not have legal authority under federal law to appeal the 9th Circuit’s decision. The net effect is the same, but the Court avoided ruling on the merits. The jurisdiction question was actually brought up in the DOMA case (U.S.A. v. Windsor), as to whether the Court had jurisdiction to hear that case.

  2. I got a pleasant surprise yesterday when browsing YouTube and found an LGBT rainbow coloured heart at the top of the page.
Kudos, YouTube. We love you too.
And what a slap in the face to the homophobic bigots using its service it must have been. =D

    1. YouTube is owned by Google and Google haven’t taken a gay ‘cure’ app down yet – not so ‘proud’ really – https://www.allout.org/en/actions/gaycureapp
