I have a good feeling about this. Today is the 10th anniversary of the SCOTUS ruling on Lawrence vs. Texas, which struck down all the laws in the US that criminalised gay sex. Something tells me that the significance of this hasn’t been lost on the judges, and Scalia’s public rant last week makes me think his views are in the minority.

And with anti-gay Julia Gillard also gone from office down in Oz it would really feel like party time if both the SCOTUS rulings are on the side of equality :-)

Today is the last day for SCOTUS, Its been a long road. Today will be a historic day. Im only 22 years old but one day i can tell my kids about when daddy and i could not get married and be recognized by our government. I bet knowing myself they will drift off like “what ever”. :)

  3. This is the day the USA could embrace TRUE ‘equality’. Let’s hope the Supreme Court seizes the moment ….
