  1. Pathetic, really, but the more the church fractures, the weaker it gets, which can only be a good thing

Good….last one out of the church please put the light off and lock the door…..permanently!

  3. With a bit of luck, very soon they will have scismed and hand-wrung themselves into oblivion. Then perhaps we can all just get along without religion’s constant divisiveness and hate-mongering to hold us back.

  4. Bye then.
Yet another splinter group of Scottish protestantism, glad to see they are upholding a centuries old tradition.

  5. It is better for the hate elements in a congregation to leave and follow their own hate agenda than to disrupt the real true and meaningful followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is sad that there are still patches of hate to be found in some congregations. I pray that they have a change of heart and rejoin the church.

  6. Max, Marcwebbo3 and truth. You are as petty and small minded as the demented reactionaries in the Church of Scotland. Yow three should real try to be adult and mature

Good, few less bigots to contend with. Would that it would happen south of the border with Anglican clergy leaving in droves to join the Episcopalians.

    Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Best if all the crap people who claim to be Christians leave, including the leaders, and leave decent Christians to make their own way based on their conscience and personal understanding of humanity.

MOST Christians, Anglican and Catholic certainly, in the US and UK, support full equal rights. Whilst I don’t believe at all, I welcome the support of equality from the majority of Christians. I respect and accept people who respect and accept me. That’s the way my mother told me to be, and I think it was pretty good advice.
