He’s gonna be very popular in jail! By the time he’s completed his jail sentence he’ll be in tatters, just like his cheap nasty t-shirts.

How anyone can give a thumbs-up to a comment joking about male rape in prisons is beyond me.

  2. Wow, he’s all kinds of confused, isn’t he?

  3. As if we’re like to heed the “wisdom” of a fashionista!

  4. He doesn’t sound like father material. He sounds vain, selfish and self-absorbed. Also, it’s offensive for him to say he’s OK to be a single gay parent, but two gay parents is somehow not good enough. He’s a hypocrite and I hope he rots in jail.

  5. “My dream is to have a baby, not to adopt one because I am not up to it and I don’t feel strong enough.”

He wants to be a parent (and presumably raise a child) but doesn’t have enough strength to go through the adoption process?

For God’s sake man, just go buy a dog or a new boat.

  6. Oh, great. So now, because this paragon of wisdom has opened his mouth, two same sex parents are going to be equated in the popular Italian psyche with “taking a babe away from its mother”.

  7. I’m really trying to care, but…

    1. His ‘thoughts’ are so vacuous they’re really not worth commenting on.

      Damn. I’ve seen what I’ve done there…

      1. D&G is a great brand, they really achieved but I wish I didn’t know anything more about either of them.

        1. I mean great in the sense of the brand having instant recognition and high celebrity status, that is a giant achievement in itself.
It’s a shame the financial management side has gone a bit pear-shaped.

  8. Dolle & Gabbana should be boycotted. Just like chick-fil-a.

Another reason why I never cared for their design or fragrances. Plays right into the hands of the SSM hater mongers, music to their ears.

You’d think with all the money that they have made over the years, they wouldn’t be quite so greedy as to avoid paying their tax. Very sad.

    1. Making vast amounts of money doesn’t make people scrupulous about things like tax, quite the reverse – J K Rowling is so exceptional in this regard she’s almost freakish.

      1. But would Kylie, Madonna or Beyonce want to dress in Harry Potter style? Maybe… but I don’t really think so do you?

  11. no wonder italy is f_ucked up if people like them dont pay taxes.

and if i had to choose between two gay dads and a greedy criminal……

    1. Think what he must have earned to have a tax bill that size? What greedy individuals. No wonder Italy is crumbling. Tax avoidance should go to the top of the EU concerns as it is crippling all of us.

And is it me, but what did all the baby stuff have to do with taxes?

      1. ‘…In an interview with an Italian newspaper in 2006 Gabbana revealed…I am opposed to the idea of a child growing up with two gay parents…’

  12. My understanding, at least from the news, is that the firm as whole was found to have illegally evaded tax to the tune of over €1 billion.

    Eight months is a joke.

  13. He’s a successful fashion designer, it doesn’t mean he is intelligent or that his opinions count.
Really I wish I hadn’t read this, it’s sort of upsetting that gay people can be so mixed up and all over the place.

  14. Pay your taxes dude, we have to!

Just remember, you have to earn it to pay it – there are people who would love to be a taxpayer because they have a job.

As for the rest of it, we all have issues, but we still go on paying our taxes.

  15. Good…send him down, the same old story…the super rich avoiding tax, tosser.

I fail to see how his sexuality affects the tax situation.

  17. Jesus moran 20 Jun 2013, 2:20pm

Oh the Italians between their mothers, mafia , corruption and the Catholic Church ….

  18. David Clarke 20 Aug 2013, 6:05am

These guys should pay their taxes like everybody else and/or go to prison and he sounds like an ignorant homophobic fool about two men raising a child alone without the mother who of course could be in the child’s life anyway. He sounds like an idiot. What an ignorant attitude for someone from his station and education in life to have. In other words, what a schmuck…
